The round that is voided
A void is a round that is cancelled by a rule, with the stake returned to the balance and no outcome recorded. Of the interrupted rounds in the samples, 40.0% ended this way. This page sets out the four reasons a round is voided, what returns, and why a void is not a loss.

The stake is committed and the round is running. A break here, before the round is decided, is the only break that can void the stake - and only if the rules have no default action.
The decision window is open. A dropped connection or a timed-out decision is decided here: by a default action, by a void, or by the window expiring.
The outcome is fixed on the server. A break now is a display problem only: the round settles as decided and the result is shown on reconnect.
The round is voided and the stake returns to the balance. This is a rule outcome, not a loss: the money is where it started.
A void is a round cancelled by a rule before an outcome is fixed, and the stake returns to the balance. Of 2,880 interrupted rounds, 1,152 (40.0%) were voided. The four reasons in the samples are a timed-out decision with no default action, an expired decision window, an operator-side interruption, and a round that never started.
Four reasons a round is voided
| Reason | What happened | Rounds |
|---|---|---|
| no default action | a decision timed out and the game defines no action to take for you | 384 |
| the window expired | the decision window closed without an action and the round cannot continue | 312 |
| an operator interruption | the game itself stopped, not the connection | 240 |
| the round never started | the stake was committed and the round did not begin | 216 |
All four share one property: the outcome was never fixed. A void is possible exactly where an outcome is absent, which is why a void can never cancel a round that has already been decided. What a round actually is sets out that boundary.
What a void returns, and what it does not
Worked example / sample J
- a month of rounds: 1,800
- rounds interrupted at the sampled rate: 216 (12.0%)
- of those, voided and stake returned: 86 (40.0%)
- mean stake: 2.00
- stake returned in the month: 86 x 2.00 = 172.00
- rounds whose outcome the interruption changed: 0
A void removes a chance. That is the honest cost of it: a round that would have won pays nothing, and a round that would have lost is forgiven. Because the outcome was never fixed, the void is even-handed, which is why it is the rule that regulated products default to when a round cannot be completed cleanly.
How a void appears to the player
- The account history shows the round as voided, with the stake returned and no win or loss recorded against it.
- The balance returns to what it was before the stake was committed; the game screen usually shows a message rather than a result.
- No default action was applied, so no decision was taken against you.
- Nothing needs to be claimed: the return is a rule outcome, not a request to support.
- If a void does not appear where the terms say it should, the escalation route is the operator support channel and then the dispute route, never a repeated attempt at the game.
The last point is the practical one. A void is deterministic once the rules are read; a player who re-stakes to recover a round that was voided is trying to do by volume what the rule already decided.
